Programmes

PROGRAMME 1 – Assistant Monitor & Lifeguard Course – Spanish Lifesaving and Rescue Federation

What does it involve?
Campers complete their official lifeguard certification during the camp and also carry out practical training as an Assistant Monitor within our summer camp.

Duration
10 days (From 1st to 10th July)

Requirements
Be a confident swimmer and at least 16 years old.

This programme provides the opportunity to earn a lifeguard certificate issued by the Spanish Lifesaving and Rescue Federation. The course will be delivered by certified instructors from Salvamento Sevilla, and will enhance the campers’ sports training, preparing them for future summer job opportunities.

*Optional: Complete the Basic Life Support and AED course (SVB DEA – Soporte Vital Básico y use of an automated external defibrillator).

PROGRAMME 2 – Assistant Monitor & English Course (B1, B2, C1)

What does it involve?
Campers receive Assistant Monitor training and take part in a Cambridge exam preparation course for B1, B2 or C1 levels.

Duration
20 days (From 1st to 20th July)

Requirements
Participants must be at least 16 years old. A placement test will be held before the course begins to determine each student’s level.

The course runs over 20 days, with a total of 90 hours of training (5 hours per day, divided into 2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 in the afternoon).
It is delivered by qualified teachers from our CBS Language Academy, who are specialists in Cambridge exam preparation.

Students will focus on their English course (B1, B2 or C1) during the first 10 days, and complete their Assistant Monitor training during the final 10 days.

PROGRAMME 3 – Assistant Monitor & Official Youth Leisure Activity Leader Qualification

What does it involve?
Campers receive Assistant Monitor training and complete an official course accredited by the Junta de Andalucía to become a Youth Leisure Activity Leader.

Duration
30 days (From 1st to 30th July)

Requirements
Participants must be at least 16 years old and have completed ESO (Spanish compulsory secondary education).

Teens aged 16 and 17 can take part in this dynamic programme which combines training as an Assistant Monitor with a certified Youth Leisure Activity Leader course, delivered by EsAventura – a team of young, passionate and experienced professionals in the fields of education, sport, leisure and active tourism.

The course runs for 30 days:

  • The first 10 days are focused on theoretical training.

  • The final 20 days include mandatory hands-on practice, essential to complete the certification.
