Since the inception of CBS Summer Camp, it has been conceived as a project for the future, breaking away from traditional methods of teaching English as a second language.
Our camp was founded in 2009, driven by a great passion to give English language learning a fresh perspective. We achieve this through a fun and fulfilling summer holiday featuring a wide variety of activities—all conducted, of course, entirely in English. It was designed as an enjoyable way for every child to acquire a new language.
Since this innovative idea was launched by CBS, The British School of Seville, I have come to feel like a mother not only to my own three children but to every child who has joined our camps. Many return year after year, and we look forward to welcoming them back each summer with great anticipation. CBS Summer Camp is, above all, a large family enjoying a fun holiday while, naturally, improving their English.
We are proud to have a team of native and bilingual instructors with extensive experience in teaching English through dynamic and varied activities. Each team member draws inspiration from their comprehensive training, knowledge, and deep connection with the English-speaking world. For us, communication and teamwork are paramount.
The philosophy of our centre lies in teaching the language in a way that is both fun and engaging for our pupils, enabling them to express themselves in English in any communicative situation. We create an immersive environment where English is the sole language spoken throughout the camp.
